Swine Flu 4WHO?

Swine Flu 4WHO?

The Swine flu will cost the world hundred of millions and could take  down the economy of Mexico.  WHO -The World Health

Organization has put the pandemic index at 4. Here is how it works. A 4 in the pandemic index means “Verified human-to-human transmission able to cause community-level outbreaks. Significant increase in risk of a pandemic”

Phase 1: No viruses circulating among animals causing infections in humans
Phase 2: Animal influenza virus causes infection in humans, and is considered potential pandemic threat
Phase 3: Influenza causes sporadic cases in people, but no significant human-to-human transmission
Phase 4: Verified human-to-human transmission able to cause community-level outbreaks. Significant increase in risk of a pandemic
Phase 5: Human-to-human transmission in at least two countries. Strong signal pandemic imminent
Phase 6: Virus spreads to another country in a different region. Global pandemic under way”
Check out their website on Epidemic Alert and Response.

“The World Health Organization (WHO) has raised its alert level over swine flu from three to four – two steps short of declaring a full pandemic.

WHO Assistant Director General Dr Keiji Fukuda said it signaled a “significant step towards pandemic influenza”, but added “we are not there yet”.

The Virus that is spreading among humans has never been seen before. Government leaders in the USA are not saying this and neither is the media. This may be a deadly combo of swine, bird, and human flu. The human immune system has not dealt with this one till recently-so what happens next is anyone’s guess.

WILL IT CAUSE SUDDEN DEATH, Funerals, we do not know.

The map of the never been seen H1N1 possible  pandemic spread  from google is here:

“For millions of loyal Cubs fans, Wrigley Field means a lot more
then just a ballpark; it’s their shrine, and sanctuary.

Since all cub fans go to heaven I am sure the scoreboard will show a continuous no hitter.

News Internet Posting-Newsweek article reveals top 2 lower cost funeral homes in the USA

News Internet Posting-Newsweek article reveals top 2 lower cost funeral homes in the USA

Breaking News-March 8th 2009 Newsweek Revealed the “Two”leading lower cost Funeral Homes in the USA. The funeral homes mentioned are  Simple Funerals  near Detroit, Michigan and  Barton Family Funeral Service in Seattle Washington.

It appears that the article’s author ( Matthew Phillips)spent some time with the owner of  Simple Funerals-Tom Macksoud. He recounts the case  of  Randy Bathurst who died in January. Phillips goes  on to explains how Macksoud helped Bathurst’s  Widow lower the cost of her husband’s funeral.

In the article Phillips  also quotes the co-founder of Barton Family Funeral Service Craig Barton as saying

“People have come to believe that spending a lot of money is the only way to do it because that’s what the funeral industry has told them.”

Barton has a cremation website, Seattle Cremations, where one can complete cremation paperwork in advance and

purchase a cremation for $695. This is very close to the lowest cost cremation in the USA.

I am pleased that these two funeral homes have fleshed out the principles in my book Rest in Peace Insiders Tips to the Low Cost Less Stress Funeral which is reasonably priced to help you with Your Funeral Cost.

Oh yes, the author of this blog is quoted in the Newsweek article as well.

The Lower Cost Funeral book has been featured in an Article in the Canadian National Post. The article “Don’t Throw Your Money Down the Grave, make sure your family mourns you not the cost of your funeral.”

Here is what I said in my interview that was quoted in the article.

“In any other transaction this large, most people would try bargaining on the price. But when it comes to burying a friend or relative, no one wants to seem cheap. That kind of thinking, however noble it might seem, is a mistake, says R. Brian Burkhardt, author of Rest in Peace: Insider’s Tips to the Low Cost Less Stress Funeral.Quite frankly, the money should go for the living,” says Mr. Burkhardt. “Why should you put $15,000 in the ground for a funeral when the money can go to your grandkid’s education or to a relative?”

People shouldn’t be shy about opting for a low-cost funeral, especially in this economy, adds Mr. Burkhardt.

If you take away all the emotion from the situation, it is a contract negotiation. Funeral directors will negotiate with you for a lower cost,” Mr. Burkhardt says.

For example, he says, you can opt not to have the body embalmed. “That is the best way to lower funeral costs,” he says. “It can save you at least $600 or $700.”

The Memorial Society of British Columbia estimates the average funeral costs to be $10,000.Your Funeral Guy, R.Brian Burkhardt, estimates the average cost of a traditional funeral in 2008  in the United States to be $8000 USD. This due to traditional funeral cost rise as lower cost options cut into funeral industry profits.

Hi, my name is R.Brian Burkhardt and I am known on the internet as Your Funeral Guy. I was severely injured on a job and had to take some time off work.

During that time, I was able to help others lower their funeral cost. After some reflection. I wrote a book. I am here to reach out to others who need help working through the painful problem of funerals. I can do that with you either through the book, on the web or in person.

Over the years and because of what I have seen, it is apparent that many have been hurt in the funeral process. This is can be avoided. I may look like a traditional guy, but I am always looking with enthusiasm to the future. I see a better quality in “funerals” ahead along with lower cost and less stress. This one of the progressive funeral directors blog

This funeral book promotes broad prosperity, personal freedom, a better future, by teaching about the lower cost funeral and funeral expenses, in the context of personal expenses and the funeral arrangement(s).
