Familarize yourself with Funeral Arrangements and you can do a lower cost funeral

Recently I ran across ran across a blog post that sounds like a page out of “Rest In Peace insiders Tips to The low Cost Less Stress Funeral.” a book that  I spent much of my time writing in 2007 and 2008. The tips in the post are quite good. One good way to familiarize yourself with funeral arrangements is to purchase the book.

Snippet of a few things that will help with a lower cost funeral.

if you or a friend are knowledgeable in funeral arrangements, you can opt to facilitate the funeral service yourself.

A family or friend can officiate the service and act to facilitate the flow of the funeral service and provide a eulogy if desired.

Host the after service gathering at a home and enllist the help of friends to prepare the food. Support will come from family and friends during a time of loss and will often provide meals and food for the bereaved family.

Funeral memorial card programs templates can help you create the funeral program which results in a professionally designed program that highlights your loved one’s life. You may also print the funeral bulletins programs out yourself on your home computer rather than spend a good amount of money having them commercially printed.”

The Lower Cost Funeral and Cremations are on the rise, they are overtaking burials across the USA. People simply want to spend less on Funeral Cost.

The Lower Cost Funeral may put an end to the traditional funeral home

“And Thomas J. Deisler, owner, president and licensed director of Deisler Funeral Home at 2233 Hemmeter in Saginaw Township, said about 40 percent of those planning a funeral service in Saginaw County choose cremation.

“I’ve had people that have bought graves years ago and are calling me to see if someone else wants it,” he said. “They want to opt out of being placed in those graves and they’d rather have a cremation and a memorial to follow.”

The Cremation Association of North America estimates cremation was the method of disposition for about 36 percent of deaths in 2008, a 12 percent increase from 1998.

Deisler said more people are choosing cremation because of the almost $3,000 in savings realized by avoiding burial costs.”-via www.mlive.com
